Jorge Lopez, one of the victims of last week's highway shooting spree, was laid to rest Sunday afternoon.

Friends and family gathered Saturday night to remember the 20-year-old car enthusiast who was the first victim in a rush hour shooting rampage Dec. 22.

Lopez was stopped at a traffic light in Garland when he was fatally shot.

Following Saturday's wake, the roar of engines could be heard offering a procession of horsepower to memorialize the young victim.
