A familiar face is returning to the Dallas City Council after Saturday's runoff elections.

First-term incumbent Carolyn Davis got 69 percent of the vote to easily beat Ron Price, a Dallas Independent School District trustee in District 7.

In District 1, former Dallas Park board member Delia Jasso edged out community development consultant Justin Epker with 53 percent.

In Fort Worth, voters chose "Zim" Zimmerman to replace the late Chuck Silcox on the City Council. Zimmerman took 56 percent of the vote to beat Eric Fox.
