Here's a daily list of recent activities drawing the attention of North Texas law enforcement. List compiled on Nov. 24, 2009.

WAITER ACCUSED OF STEALING CUSTOMERS' CREDIT CARDS
Dallas police say a waiter at Kona Grill in Dallas' Northpark Center stole credit cards from several customers during happy hour Friday night. Dallas police said the man left with five credit cards. Police said they are getting a warrant for the arrest of the waiter. A manager said the man no longer works at the restaurant. Click here to read this story on NBCDFW.com.

NINE ARRESTED IN FAKE GOVERNMENT DOCUMENT SCHEME
Investigators arrested nine men, believed to be illegal immigrants, who are accused of making fake government documents, the Star-Telegram reported. The arrests came after a six-month investigation involving Fort Worth Police, the Secret Service and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Police said a Crime Stoppers tip led them to the men who allegedly made everything from resident alien cards to driver's licenses and Social Security cards. ELECTRICAL SHORT CAUSES FIRE THAT LEFT 7 FIREFIGHTERS INJURED
Seven firefighters were injured Monday night battling an electrical fire in a vacant North Dallas apartment complex that is under construction. The fire spread behind the walls and in between the floors of one of three Gramercy on the Park apartment buildings near the Dallas North Tollway and the President George Bush Turnpike. Three of the 140 firefighters who fought the blaze were injured when part of a ceiling collapsed. Several others were treated for various injuries. All the injured firefighters were treated and released. Investigators said an electrical short in the meter panel caused the fire. Click here to watch a video report.

FOUR INTOXICATED PEOPLE SHOW UP FOR JAIL TOUR
Four people who were supposed to go on a court-ordered tour of the Denton County jail showed up intoxicated, the Denton Record Chronicle reported. The three men and one woman were ordered to tour the jail as part of their probation for driving while intoxicated, according to the paper. Jailers thought the four appeared to be intoxicated and called for Breathalyzer tests. According to the sheriff's report, the results ranged from 0.12 percent to 0.123 percent, which is well above the legal driving limit of 0.08. Deputies didn't arrest the individuals, but instead told them to call a designated driver to take them home. They've been reported to the judge who ordered the jail tour. HURST POLICE HUNT FOR DOGNAPPERS
Three dogs have been taken in three separate incidents in Hurst last week, according to the Star-Telegram. On Nov. 15 someone broke into a car at Northeast Mall and made off with an English bulldog valued at $1,500. Police raised the possibility that someone felt sorry for the animal, but the dog has never been turned in to animal control. Then sometime after 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 16 a burglar took two dogs from their backyards. One was an English bulldog puppy valued at $1,500 that had been advertised for sale, and the other was a Jack Russell terrier. Click here to read more in the Star-Telegram.
