Police: Carbon Monoxide Kills Man Sleeping in Car
A Euless man died from carbon monoxide poisoning after he fell asleep Thursday night in his garage with his car's engine running, the Star Telegram reported. Investigators call the death accidental and said they believe Mohammed Panjwani kept his car running so he could run his AC after he returned home from a late-night card game. However, investigators said they are not sure why he chose to stay inside his vehicle. He was found in the garage Friday afternoon after neighbors complained of strong exhaust fumes.

Police Call Fatal Fire "Suspicious"
A two-alarm apartment fire that killed one man and destroyed two apartments is "suspicious," Dallas-Fire Rescue officials said Friday. The fire started at about 1 p.m.in the 3700 block of Rosemeade Parkway near the Bush Turnpike. Benjamin Smith, 24, lived in a second floor unit where the fire started and had been sending text messages to someone indicating that he was "troubled," said Dallas-Fire Rescue spokesman Ernest Gurule.

Motorcyclist Found Critically Injured on Central Expressway
One man was critically injured Friday in a wreck involving a single motorcycle, DART police said. A DART officer found the victim at about 2 a.m. lying on northbound Central Expressway just sound of Mockingbird. A crashed motorcycle was several hundred yards from the victim. Dallas-Fire Rescue took the person to Baylor Hospital. There was no word on the person's condition.

Kaufman County DA Arrested, Accused of DWI
Kaufman County's district attorney was arrested on suspicion of DWI a few minutes after midnight Thursday morning in the 2200 block of Seagoville Road, police said. Police said Richard Harrison, 47, was taken into custody right after he was involved in a two-car accident. Harrison bonded out of jail a few hours after his arrest. This is not his first DWI arrest, the Dallas Morning News Reported.

Curling Irons and Hair Dryers Crimp Commute
It wasn't tangled hair, but tangled traffic that messed with morning rush hour, after an accident involving a trailer loaded with curling irons and blow dryers. It happened around 4:15 a.m. on northbound Stemmons Frwy at Manana Dr. Dallas police say a truck pulling dual trailers was traveling northbound when the rear trailer unhitched and rolled into the freeway.
