FWPD BUSTS COCKFIGHT
Four men were arrested Saturday on charges of animal cruelty after Fort Worth police said they were caught preparing to fight roosters in a backyard. Police were investigating a complaint in the 3100 block of Lulu Street about 4:30 p.m., when officers "observed from an adjoining yard several subjects preparing to place roosters in the fighting cage," said Sgt. POLICE INVESTIGATE BANKING SCHEME PHONE CALLS
The Denton Police Department is warning residents about automated calls that claim to be from banking institutions. The department said it has received numerous calls from citizens that have received the automated calls. The call informs the recipient that their credit card has been locked or suspended and that in order to correct the situation they need to follow along the computerized prompts until they reach a point where they have to enter their credit card number. Anyone that has entered their credit card number in response to one of the phone calls should immediately contact the card issuing financial institution and have that card cancelled, police said.

LATE-NIGHT ARGUMENT ENDS IN DOUBLE STABBING
Two men were being treated at a Fort Worth hospital after being stabbed late Sunday night in the 500 block of South Edgewood Terrace, police said. Investigators said a group of men where arguing when knives were drawn and one man was stabbed several times in the neck. Another man was stabbed in the chest.  There was no word on their conditions.

2ND ARREST MADE IN KILLING OF ELDERLY FORT WORTH MAN
Police have arrested a second person in connection with the robbery and fatal shooting of a 74-year-old Fort Worth man last month, the Star-Telegram reports. Ernest Saucedo, the boyfriend of a 19-year-old woman already charged in the case, was reportedly en route to Mexico when he was arrested on a capital murder warrant at a relative’s home in San Antonio Sunday night, police said.He was being transported by detectives back to Fort Worth Monday morning. TEEN DIES FROM FALL ON SPIKED FENCE AFTER FLEEING ATTEMPTED TRUCK BREAK-IN
A teenager found outside an Aurora home died after falling on a spiked fence, which he jumped while running away from an attempted truck break-in, authorities said. Deputies responded to a burglary call in the same area where 15-year-old Rowdy Robles' body was found in Wise County.  Investigators said Rowdy was one of three boys a homeowner spotted breaking into a neighbor's pickup truck just before midnight.  Click here to read this story from the Dallas Morning News.

AMBER ALERT SUSPECT FACES KIDNAPPING CHARGES
North Richland Hills police have filled kidnapping charges against a man accused of abducting a 6-year-old girl. Hanna Renee Mcbride was reunited with her mother and Matthew Dylan Davis, 28, was taken into custody Friday night after state troopers located Davis' vehicle on Interstate 20 and FM 4 in Palo Pinto County. POLICE ARREST SUSPECTS IN CEDAR SPRINGS MUGGINGS
A traffic stop resulted in a break in a series of late night robberies in the Cedar Springs area, Dallas police said. Police said stepped up traffic enforcement led to the arrest of three individuals who are suspects in the robberies.  Click here to read this story on NBCDFW.com.

MAN PLEADS GUILTY IN TEENAGER'S CHEESE DEATH
A Rockwall man pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide in the "cheese" heroin death of a high school student. Tim Salahi said he bought the drug for 16-year-old Paige Elliot, who later overdosed, in 2007. He faces up to two years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

OFFICER INJURED WHILE CHASING SHOPLIFTING SUSPECT
A police officer jumped on a car and slid off while chasing a woman suspected of shoplifting at Hulen Mall on Monday night. Dispatchers said the officer jumped on the hood of the woman's car as she tried to get away. Shots were fired during the chase, but no one was hit, dispatchers said.
