Beer, Straight to Your Door

The tried-and-true beer and pizza combo just got even more awesome -- now, both can come straight to your door.
A Pizza Hut in Amarillo, Texas, will now deliver beer to customers who order a fresh pie in a test-run of a new policy that would let the chain bring beer directly to customers' homes, KFDA TV reported.
The new beer-delivery service was created to raise the restaurant's profits, execs at the Pizza Hut on the corner of Hillside and Coulter streets said.
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and local authorities will closely monitor the service, making sure that customers who request the beer are all of age and don't over-order the booze.
Delivery workers who handle the beer must be over 18 years of age, the TABC said. The service will also operate under time constraints that have yet to be decided.
