Woman claims bad cabin air made her sick

A former American Airlines flight attendant claims a blast of bad cabin air ended her career, and left her with "partial blindness" and "crippling headaches", according to a report in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
The ex-flight attendant, Terry Williams, lives in the Seattle area, but says the incident happened on a flight into DFW International Airport in April of 2007. Williams is suing the aircraft maker, Boeing, claiming that the system that delivers cabin air on most planes, poses a threat to people on board.
Speaking to the media, Williams attorney, Alisa Brodkowitz, claimed the air delivery system sometimes draws a toxic oil additive into the cabin of the plane. Brodkowitz claims the planes are not safe to fly, an allegation Boeing disputes.
