Put Down the Okra

Magic Valley Fresh Frozen Inc. says it is voluntarily recalling breaded okra produced under the HEB label from July 1, 2010, until Jan. 31 of this year because it may contain undeclared whey, a milk ingredient.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk risk serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported.

Retailers are removing the okra from store shelves, and consumers can return the okra to their place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 956-994-8947.
