Below is the latest schedule of mosquito ground spraying, broken down by county.
Collin County
**McKinney
The city will spray for mosquitoes beginning at about 10 p.m. Friday Aug. 31 east of U.S. 75, south of White Avenue, West of state Highway 5 and north of Market Place. Residents who don't want spray near their home can contact health compliance at 972-547-7447.
Dallas County
The following cities have been ground sprayed by Dallas County Health and Human Services and the Texas Department of State Health Services contractors: Sachse, Wylie, Rowlett, Highland Park, Sunnyvale, Balch Springs, Hutchins, Seagoville, DeSoto, Glenn Heights, Combine, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Ovilla and the Sandbranch community.
Tarrant County
**Arlington
The city will spray a neighborhood near Deaver Park on the southwest side Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The area is generall bound by Kelly Elliott Road, Sublett Road, Twin Willows and Willow Elm Drive and Bradley Lane. See a map here. Spraying will begin at about 11 p.m and end around 4 a.m.
**Burleson
The city will spray in the northern part of town over three consecutive nights between Aug. 29-31 beginning at about 9 p.m. each night. See a map here.
**Haltom City
The city has scheduled spraying events for the next three weeks.
- Starting Tuesday, Aug. 28, the city will begin spraying south of Broadway Avenue for three consecutive nights through Aug. 30. Spraying will be done between 8:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
- On Sept. 4, they will again spray for three consecutive nights in an area between Glenview Drive and Western Center Boulevard.
- The final round of spraying will take place over three consecutive nights starting Sept. 11 in an area north of Broadway Avenue to Glenview Drive.
**Hurst
The entire city of Hurst will be sprayed over six consecutive nights beginning Aug. 30. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the central and southern part of Hurst (south of Airport Freeway) will be sprayed beginning at about 8:30 p.m. Areas north of Airport Freeway will be sprayed Monday through Wednesday.
**North Richland Hills
The city will conduct ground spraying from Aug. 29 to Sept. 9. Spraying will take place between 8:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. over three consecutive nights until all four areas have been sprayed. Maps of the areas and the days they will be sprayed can be seen here.
