Another dangerous side effect has been added to the list of side effects caused by the drug ecstasy.

Researchers at the University of Miami say the drug can cause a rare artery aneurysm in the spine.

In one case, experts say a teenager had blood swelling in his spinal cord artery a week after taking the drug.

Ecstasy has also been linked to strokes and spikes in high blood pressure.
