If Kelli Calabrese is lucky, she'll be on the hit NBC show "The Biggest Loser."
The Flower Mound fitness guru is in the running to be the next trainer on the show.
But she didn't go looking for the job -- it came looking for her.
"They found me.They were out there searching and thankfully, my name came up," Calabrese said. "I was getting on the plane when I got the phone call, and I was like, well, 'If you guys are serious, give me a call on Monday.' And Monday morning, the first thing, the phone rang. And they set up the interview, time and location, so I knew it was serious."
After a brief, 90-minute interview session and workout, the production team was on its way. Calabrese said she could find out as early as this week if she'll be on the show.
"I've got to tell you, I'm excited," she said. "I would love to get it. And I just want to reach more people. This has been my mission for a long, long time."
Jillian Michaels, the intense, in-your-face trainer on the show, is leaving "The Biggest Loser" after this season."
"She is definitely America's toughest trainer, but my style is just different," Calabrese said. "I do it in a very inspirational, educational, informative, very supportive kind of way, but I'm still going to get the job done."
