One North Texas woman said she'll continue to eat Lean Cuisine despite a nationwide recall.

Nestle Food Prepared Foods Co. is recalling three flavors of its frozen meals, including the 9.5 ounce packages of  Lean Cuisine Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta, Lean Cuisine Chicken Tuscan and Lean Cuisine Chicken Mediterranean.

Melinda Kirby said the meals are convenient, fast and give her the portion control she wants.

"I eat them about five times a week," Kirby said.

She said she was shocked to hear about the recall.

"I just ate one of those yesterday, and I was fine," she said.

The recall was issued after small pieces of hard plastic were found inside several of the frozen meals. The company recieved several complaints, and one injury was reported.

North Texas grocery stores have taken the products off their shelves.

Despite the recall, Kirby said she'll remain loyal to Lean Cuisine.

"I'm sure they'll take care of the problem," she said.
