Cooling Stations Set To Open Monday

With temperatures regularly climbing into the 90s, the Salvation Army will open several cooling stations beginning Monday morning.

Fifteen cooling stations have been set up around the Metroplex in Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, Collin and Ellis counties.

According to its website, the Salvation Army said the stations are a cool place to stay during the hot hours of the day.

Ice-cold water will be on hand to help people keep cool and there will also be tips on how to stay cool now that the Texas heat has kicked in for the summer.
