Carrollton Increases Mosquito Traps in West Nile Virus Fight

    In an effort to keep fighting the West Nile virus, the City of Carrollton has increased its number of mosquito traps from six to 14.

    Each week mosquitoes will be collected from seven of these sites and the following week the next seven will be tested.

    The city is also giving away free mosquito dunks to residents.

    Dunks are available at the Carrollton Animal Services Center or the Senior Center.  One package per resident is available whiel supplies last.
