The city of Burleson is reporting a second resident has been infected with West Nile virus.

The case, involving a patient living on the 700-block of Northwest James Circle, was confirmed by the Tarrant County Public Health Department Wednesday.

The city's first case was reported on the 900-block of Timber Ridge Court on July 24.

Due to confidentiality reasons, no further patient information is expected to be released.

Burleson has not announced any plans to spray, by ground or air, for mosquitoes.
