A water line break left residents and businesses without water in Azle Sunday.  The break has now been fixed, but that's not the end of the town's water woes.

The city, which lost 3 million gallons of water before the break was capped, is asking residents and businesses to conserve water until storage tanks are once again full.  Additionally, the city is under a boil water notification for the next three days -- which means anyone planning to drink the water will need to boil it before consuming.

"Oh, boiling it's a pain, of course, but at least there's water,” said Mark Waskow, resident.

Resident Joe Barker put it a little more colorfully when he said, "It was a little inconvenient, but you know sometimes, life sucks. You just have to go on and make the best of it."

The rupture forced many in Azle to purchase bottled water from stores or to simply do without while the repairs were under way.

"For the most part, every water customer for the city of Azle wound up with no water at some point in time," said Will Scott said. Azle Fire Chief.

The pipe was fixed by early Monday morning, but not before classes were canceled at area schools.
