The city of Dallas opened four drop off locations where people can have their election signs recycled.
From now through November 26, residents can visit any of the four city waste facilities to deliver campaign signs.
Anyone bringing signs in should dump them in the large, green, open-topped containers in place at each location, city sanitation workers will handle the rest.
Here is the list of times and locations for election sign recycling.
Southeast Dallas:
McCommas Bluff Landfill
5100 Youngblood Rd.
8:00 am - 7:00 pm
Monday - Saturday (closed Sunday)
Recycling container is at the Citizen's Drop-Off Center at the landfill.
Southwest Dallas:
Westmoreland Transfer Station
4610 S. Westmoreland Rd.
Monday - Sunday
Recycling container is at the Citizen's Drop-Off area - just inside the facility gate.
Northwest Dallas:
Bachman Transfer Station 9500 Harry Hines
7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Monday - Sunday
Recycling container is at the Citizen's Drop-Off area - called Dry Gulch Recycling Center.
Northeast Dallas:
Fair Oaks Transfer Station 7677 Fair Oaks Rd
Monday - Sunday
Recycling container is at the Citizen's Drop-Off area - just inside the facility gate.
