The price at the gasoline pump has dropped a nickel this week across Texas.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported the average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.48. The association says the national average per gallon is also down 5 cents, to settle at $3.58.

AAA says the commodities markets have had dramatic shifts in the past week and gasoline prices have continued to decline.

The association says the average retail price of gasoline across Texas is 11 cents lower than it was a month ago.
