A new superstore opening in Allen is targeting a different audience -- kids.

Toys R' Us and Babies R' Us opened their first joint location in North Texas on Thursday and will offer products appropriate for every stage of a child's life from infancy through the teen years.

The toy store chain said the joint location gives parents a one-stop shopping experience just in time for holiday shopping.

The toy store opened Thursday in the Village at Allen.

A second joint location is planning to open in Irving later this month.
