Some AT&T U-Verse customers in the DFW metroplex experienced an outage in service Thursday, a spokesperson confirmed.
This disruption in service was due to an unspecified issue that occurred during routine maintenance overnight, according to a prepared statement from the company.
"A small percentage of our DFW area customers experienced U-verse TV issues," spokesperson Meredith Adams said. "We apologize for any inconvenience to these customers."
The company would not specify how many customers were affected.
The Dallas-based telecommunications company launched the U-Verse television service as an alternative to cable. U-Verse provides cable, Internet and phone services.
