Electronics retailer RadioShack Corp. said Wednesday it is expanding its online electronics trade-in program to 4,400 company-owned stores across the country.

Under the program, customers can apply the value of old products to new purchases.

Eligible electronic devices must be able to power on and include MP3 players, wireless phones, gaming systems, digital cameras and others, the company said.

A valid ID is necessary for a gift card exchange
