Officials to Discuss Expanding Parking at Dallas Love Field Airport

The City of Dallas is facing a "supply and demand" issue at Dallas Love Field Airport.

The airport needs to find a way to add more parking spots to keep up with the growing increase in travelers.

With the expiration of the Wright Amendment this October, Love Field officials expect to serve six million passengers in 2015.

Currently the airport only has 7,000 parking spaces, 1,000 of which are reserved for employees.

The city's budget and finance committee will meet Tuesday to discuss options on how to handle the new flood of travelers.
