• the doctor Saturday, Jan 10 at 4:23 PM FLAG COMMENT I get a bit worried that every week the number of jobs that it is supposed to create goes up by a half million but the definitions of how it happens isnt very clear. i read the outline they posted and it is full f wishful exageration. I think it is also telling that the demorats that supported him as the second coming with a brilliant plan to save us are not in agreement with the plan, perhaps because he claims to want to keep pork out. But then, some of the examples that have come out are really pure pork no matter how much they claim its for the jobs. ... MORE >
• SS Thursday, Jan 8 at 3:47 PM FLAG COMMENT I heard the speech and I'm glad the Pres-Elect was direct and to the point. Kudos to Mr. Obama. I hope that the Congressmen and women gets off their "you know whats" and do their jobs. . .When the everyday working man or woman needs to pay the bills or make ends meet or take care of a family member or a crisis, they spend nights, weekends, and do what ever it takes and not take "breaks". Congress needs to do the same. . . . With the way they operate, they (especially the fat cats) wouldn't survive in the everyday business world because in reality, bosses fire nonproductive employees. Maybe we as their employers need to take action to remind them that we can "fire them" for nonperformance around election time. ... MORE >
