North Texas Leaders Bet On Big Win in 2011

CEO of Super Bowl Host Committee says we all stand to gain from game

The host of the North Texas Super Bowl XLV committee talked to business students at TCU Tuesday morning about the potential impact of the Super Bowl on North Texas.

He said with events already planned at 16 venues in four different cities, Arlington is not the only city that will benefit from the game.

"These venues will attract thousands of people, generate revenue for the cities in the region and put North Texas on the world map all because of the NFL's championship game," said Bill Lively, President and CEO, North Texas Super Bowl XLV Committee.

The host committee has raised $30 million to recruit and train volunteers and produce some of the events thanks to the help of big names such as Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach.
