McDonald's Hiring in North Texas

McDonald's wants you to help fill 400 positions in more than 300 restaurants in Texas.

The fast food giant said it's offering flexible part-time and full-time options and hopes to decrease the Metroplex's unemployment rate.

One franchise owner says it's a good way to jump start a career with the restaurant chain. "I started as a crew person when I was 16 years old and today my family owns four McDonald's restaurants. So this could be a very good opportunity for anybody," said Heath Massey, McDonald's Owner/Operator.

In its news release about the job opportunities, McDonald's wanted you to know that Jay Leno, Carl Lewis and Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos all worked at McDonald's once.

"For someone, this job will be a stop along their career path. For another, this could be the beginning of one of the many career success stories found within the McDonald's system. Either way, we feel confident this program will benefit North Texas families," said Cliff Johnson, another McDonald's Owner/Operator.

McDonald's is taking applications online through www.McTexas.com, a special site set up for hiring in  Texas.
