    ALDI needs cashiers and there's a new guidebook for green jobs.

    Looking for work? There are many job fairs for the week starting Feb. 1, 2010.

    AAA Texas is looking for experienced sales professionals to work at its Texas Regional Headquarters in Irving. AAA texas will host a sales job fair Wednesday, Feb. 3 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Omni Mandalay Hotel in Las Colinas at 221 E. Las Colinas Blvd. in Irving. All of the openings are full-time with regular medical, dental, a 401K, the company's pension plan, a free AAA membership and employee insurance discounts.     The ALDI grocery store chain will hold three more hiring events for cashiers on Friday, Feb. 5, and Saturday, Feb 6.  from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The company will accept applications for cashiers to work in ALDI stores located throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex that will begin opening in March 2010.

    The Management team will accept applications in person at the following locations on the following days.

    Friday, Feb. 5:

    If you're searching for a job you may want to check out a new emerging industry, green collar jobs. The new "Texas Green Jobs Guidebook"  profiled more than 200 jobs related to the renewable energy and energy efficiency work. The guidebook is published by the Environmental Defense Fund and reviewed by the Texas Workforce Commission gives information on job training and placement programs and provides city-specific overviews of workforce Web sites and community college programs.     Sales Jobs Network is hosting a career fair on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Embassy Suites located at 4650 W. Airport Freeway in Irving. If you're interested in attending you need to register for the event then when attending you will receive a list of companies at the fair when you arrive. Sales Jobs Network said the companies include inside sales, outside sales, entry level sales positions, financial service sales and medical/pharmaceutical recruitment.
