Dallas-based Brinker International confirmed Monday it is laying off 155 employees and closing 35 locations.
The restaurant company will also eliminate 55 positions at its North Texas home office.
Currently 8,500 Brinker employees work in North Texas.
Brinker is the parent company of Chili's, Maggiano's Little Italy and On the Border.
