Kimberly-Clark Irving Headquarters Given All-Clear

Employees at Kimberly-Clark's Irving headquarters were allowed back inside after the building was partially evacuated Thursday when a suspicious package was delivered to the building, Irving police said.

After the package was X-rayed, Irving police were called who summoned the bomb squad. The Irving Fire Department was also dispatched to the building.

They examined the contents of the package, as well as two additional packages that were received from the same sender.

It was determined the packages were harmless and appeared to be sent to the location as part of a marketing promotion.

At about 3:40 p.m. Thursday, Irving police gave the all-clear and employees were allowed back in the building.

Police officials said the partial evacuation order was given as a precaution.
