Brinker International Restaurants is closing the doors on two more restaurants, this time it's the Chili's Too in Coppell and the Chili's located next to the food court inside Stonebriar Mall in Frisco.
The restaurants are set to close the doors on Wednesday. The restaurant chain reports it is working to place impacted team members in other Brinker restaurants nearby.
Chili's Too on Denton Tap Rd. in Coppell opened in 2002 and was considered a fast-casual version of Chili's. The restaurant employed a counter-order-table-delivery system and customers are given drink glasses to fill at a self-service beverage center.
The Chili's inside Stonebriar Mall opened in 2000.
Both closings are part of the 35 restaurants Brinker announced would close nationwide last month. The North-Texas based restaurant company closed almost 50 restaurants last year.
