Researchers said that the high number of cards the groups were checking each day suggests that they either had long-term access to a few compromised vendors, or had a lot of compromised vendors under their control and would shift the credit-card-checking chores to different ones to avoid being detected.

Internet bloggers from Travelocity are staking out the nations busiest airports -- alerting air travelers of potential problems.

The Thanksgiving Task Force will at DFW International and nine other airports across the country, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The bloggers will provide hour by hour updates on holiday travel, providing information on long lines at security checkpoints, parking and flight delays.

Despite a decline in air travel this holiday season, airports are still anticipating big crowds, and encourage travelers to arrive early and pack light.
