Texas A&M Investigates Bomb Threat at Kyle Field

Officials at Texas A&M University in College Station announced no bomb was found after an investigation into a bomb threat at Kyle Field Wednesday.

The stadium and adjacent buildings were closed for the remainder of the day, the school said in a statement posted on their website.

Evacuated buildings include Read, GRW, Zone, W Kyle, Bright Athletics and Netum Steed.

A&M said the threat was written on a wall of a nonacademic campus facility and officials were told of it at 10:50 a.m. The CodeMaroon alert was posted at 12:25 p.m.

Texas A&M said after the investigation, no bomb was found on campus. 

The university returns to regular activities Thursday at 6 a.m.
