Nine people are injured after a vehicle crashed through an aluminum wall at an auto auction in Wilmer.

According to information provided by the Dallas County Sheriff's Department, one of the employees at Total Resource Auction was driving a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee into the display area.

A deputy at the scene said the accelerator on the vehicle got stuck, causing it to crash through an aluminum-sided wall and into the auction area.

Nine people were struck and five had to be transported to Baylor Medical Center. The five transported persons had injuries ranging from soreness to a bone fracture, but all were in stable condition.

Four others were injured at the scene but did not require medical treatment.

Earlier versions of this report included initial inaccurate information from Dallas County Sheriff's Department that was later updated and corrected. As this story is developing, elements may change.
