Man Injured in Fort Worth Hit-and-Run

Fort Worth police are investigating a hit-and-run crash after a driver hit a pedestrian near Texas Christian University and then fled the scene.

The incident happened shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday in the 2700 block of West Berry Street, said Fort Worth police spokesman Sgt. Kelly Peel.

The victim is a man who works at a nearby dental office, employees there said.

The victim was seriously hurt and was taken to a nearby hospital, MedStar EMS said.

There was no information immediately available on the vehicle that struck the pedestrian.
