Lancaster High School was placed under lockdown briefly Tuesday after reports of a gun being on campus, school officials say.

At about 1:15 p.m., NBC 5 learned the lockdown had been lifted.

One student is being questioned, according to Sonya Cole with the Lancaster Independent School District.

Officers searched for a weapon, though no one has confirmed that one was actually seen and the results of that search are not yet known.
