Missing Greenville Man Found

Police in Greenville have found a 94-year-old man missing since about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

James Thomas Coe was last seen leaving his residence in Greenville in his tan-colored 2009 Chevrolet Impala.  He was headed to an appointment at the Hunt Regional Medical Center at Greenville, but he never arrived.

Officers said Coe was located in Greenville Wednesday and is currently being treated at a hospital.

“We would like to thank the news media for their attention to this situation and for helping spread the word about Mr. Coe,” said Assistant Police Chief Scott Smith. “We are pleased to have a positive resolution in this case and grateful for the public input we received.”
