Vapor Explosion Leads to Tanker Fire in Fort Worth

Fort Worth firefighters were called to a report of a gasoline tanker that caught fire Wednesday afternoon.

The fire was reported along the 3300 block of Braswell Drive, west of Interstate 35W and east of Meacham International Airport.

Fort Worth fire officials said a vapor explosion started the fire.  When Chopper 5 arrived at the scene at about 2:30 p.m., no flames were visible.

Two people suffered minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
