The King Early Learning center in Little Elm has been evacuated due to a ruptured gas line near the school, Little Elm police say.

The gas line break occurred near the intersection of Main and Clark streets.

The break was first reported at about 12:20 p.m.

From Chopper 5, it appears a construction crew was digging in the area with a backhoe, but officials have not said what caused the rupture.  No timetable for a repair has been given.
