Fort Worth Fire Department Rescues Man Trapped on Concrete Pillar

The Fort Worth Fire Department was called to a high-angle rescue Monday, where a man was stuck on top of a 3-story concrete pillar at a Redi-Mix concrete facility.

The fire department tweeted they were being dispatched to a rescue call where the person on the pillar was afraid to come down.

Shortly after noon, firefighter were able to retrieve the man and get him to the ground using a ladder truck.

The man did not appear to be injured and climbed down from the firetruck on his own.

The facility is located at 2725 Premier Street, east of Interstate 35W near Sylvania Avenue and Northwest 28th Street.
