Firefighters in Denton County put out a fire that destroyed a mobile home in Justin Wednesday morning.

The fire was reported at about 9:30 a.m. on the 17000 block of Gaffield Road.

Neighbors in the mobile home park told NBC 5 that they heard a loud boom and that by the the time they could look outside the mobile home was already gone.

They initially expressed concern that the man who lived in the home may not have made it out alive, but he was later located in town and was uninjured.

Fire officials said there was a dog found among the home's debris.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

NBC 5's Brian Scott contributed to this report.
