Driver, DART Train Collide in Downtown Dallas

No injuries reported after collision

A woman driving a Toyota collided with a DART train Wednesday afternoon in Downtown Dallas.

According to officials with DART, the collision took place at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Griffin Street.

The driver, whom DART said was unfamiliar with the area, didn't realize a train was coming and pulled into the intersection.

DART officials said none of the passengers on the train, or in the car, were injured in the collision.

DART established a temporary bus bridge between Victory, Pearl/Arts District and Deep Ellum to connect people delayed by the crash.

Just before 12:30 p.m., DART said the crash had been cleared and that all trains were resuming a normal schedule.
