Decatur HS Evacuated Due to Bomb Threat

Decatur High School was evacuated Tuesday due to a bomb threat.

All students were moved to the football field while the fire department searched the campus. 

At 12:45 p.m., students with off campus lunch privileges will be released for lunch. Classes and activities will resume at 2:15 p.m. The district made the announcement on their website.

Students who were taking part in STAAR testing have been moved to Carson Elementary to finish their exams.

It is not yet known when or how the threat was received.
