A charter bus taking dozens of Texas Christian University students to a football game in Arlington crashed in Fort Worth Saturday afternoon.

Fort Worth police said the bus was headed to the TCU-LSU football game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington when it went off the road on the 2500 block of South University Drive.

According to police, the bus driver was trying to avoid hitting another vehicle at the time.

Four people sustained minor injuries from glass and debris and were taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said. Five other people were treated and released at the scene, MedStar said.

There were 45 passengers on the bus, Fort Worth police said.
