Male penguins Harry and Pepper incubated and hatched an egg laid by a third bird last year. But when Linda, a penguin widow, started courting Harry he fell head over flippers for the bird. The two have now begun nesting together.

The findings are disturbing as more and more families are dropping land lines in favor of cell phones.
