Janet Jackson's show scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 24, is being rescheduled for this summer due to the singer recently undergoing throat surgery.
American Airlines Center made the announcement late Tuesday morning that Jackson's Unbreakable World Tour performance would be rescheduled for Friday, July 15 at 8 p.m.
Jackson posted the following message on her website about the schedule change.
"Janet’s postponed tour dates have now been rescheduled! Janet stated: 'Hey you guys, I’m happy to let you know all the shows have been rescheduled. I can’t wait to see you! Xoxo.'"
Jackson postponed several dates of the Unbreakable tour last fall citing vocal rest.
Those who have purchased tickets are asked to retain their tickets as they will be valid on the new date.
