    The environmental director of the Tarrant Regional Water District responded to recent flooding of the river, saying, "Testing has established that we are back to level green conditions in the Trinity River and Panther Island Pavilion. The river is well under the limit for primary contact recreation." JD Granger of the Trinity River Vision Authority added that "the river is returning back to its normal state and is open for full recreational use."
