During the month of August the Dallas Arboretum is selling entrance tickets for only $1. No only is general admission $1, but there are plenty of refreshments for the same price.
The arboretum also has plenty of spots to stay cool during Texas' hot summer days -- garden officials suggest a stroll in the Palmer Fern Dell or taking in the shade of Pecan Grove.
