Despite one of her songs charting on iTunes' Top 10 list, Amber Carrington, a member of Team Adam, didn't make "The Voice's" final three.

After making the final five, the lone North Texan left on NBC's hit show "The Voice" is coming home.

Despite one of her songs charting on iTunes' Top 10 list, Amber Carrington, a member of Team Adam, didn't make the final three.

The Rockwall High School graduate made an impressive run on the show, surviving several elimination rounds and wowing judges with her renditions of Maroon 5's "Cry" and Adele's "Skyfall," among others.

Eddie Carrington, her father, said he's happy for her success.

"I couldn't be more proud as a father, as a fan; it's unbelievable," he said.

Eddie Carrington, also an accomplished singer, said his daughter may not have won, but she will do quite well as a professional singer.

"She's been singing for a long time," he said. 'She's got excellent skills. I think she's had her chance to show the world what she's got, and I think there is a lot more to come."

Amber Carrington seems to agree, tweeting:

She also thanked her fans after Tuesday night's episode:

Thousands of Carrington's hometown fans heard her sing in Rockwall last week. She toured some of the places that are close to her heart, including the Rodeo Music City Hall in Mesquite, where she has performed since she was 10.

Also eliminated Tuesday night was Team Shakira's one remaining team member, Sasha Allen. Team Usher's Michelle Chamuel and Team Blake's Danielle Bradbery and the Swon Brothers move on to next week's finale.
