AMC to Screen Best Picture Noms

Need to catch up on your movie watching before the Academy Awards name the Best Picture of the year? AMC Theatres has you covered.

Just as in years past, the cinema chain will screen all the Best Picture nominees in marathon sessions, allowing moviegoers to see up to nine films in one day.

This year, however, the chain is offering three ways to see Amour, Les Miserables, Argo, Django Unchained, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, and Zero Dark Thirty.

On Saturday, Feb. 16, AMC Theatres will show Amour, Les Miserables, Argo, and Django Unchained for $30.

The next weekend, Feb. 23, they'll offer Beasts of the Southern Wild, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, and Zero Dark Thirty for $40.

But if you want to make the commitment to see all nine in one day, AMC is hosting a 24-hour, $60 screening session on Feb. 23. That showing is only at NorthPark 15 in Dallas.

The other weekend deals are available at Grapevine Mills 30, Mesquite 30, The Parks at Arlington 18, and Stonebriar Mall 24 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
