Stage West Presents “Like a Billion Likes”

Now – February 11

Join NBC 5 and Stage West Theatre for “Like a Billion Likes” by Erik Forrest Jackson. This four week premiere runs now through Feb. 11 in Fort Worth.

An insecure, desperate-for-attention high school girl, and the fleeting fame of social media: what could go wrong there?  Plenty, in Erik Forrest Jackson’s darkly funny and pointed Like a Billion Likes. Directed by Stage West Associate Producer, Garret Storms, Like a Billion Likes is a thought-provoking story of teens today, and the burning desire many of us have to be recognized for something, anything, no matter what the cost.

Erik Forrest Jackson was the winner of Stage West’s 2016 Southwest Playwriting Contest for Like a Billion Likes. He is also the winner of the Robert Chesley/Victor Bumbalo Playwriting Award; a top 10 finalist for the Woodward/Newman Drama Award; a finalist for the 2016 Eugene O’Neill Playwrights Conference; and the runner-up in the Todd McNerney Playwriting Contest.
