"One of the reasons it was OK for me to leave in the first place was because I thought, 'If this is love and he really cares about me, then he is going to come and find me. He's a pilot, like fly to get me that would be amazing,'" Ali told Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" airing Tuesday.
The 25-year-old advertising manager said she was dumbfounded by Jake's decision not to promise her a rose after she left fearing her job might be in jeopardy.
On Monday's episode, Ali suggested meeting up with Jake in St. Lucia, where he was filming the final episodes of his ABC series – but he shot down her offer.
"I was pretty shocked," she told Ellen. "I thought we had something really great."
Ali believes Jake might end up with Vienna, but she is hoping he picks Tenley.
"Watching actually the connection that Vienna and Jake have, I didn't realize that was happening behind the scenes or when I wasn't around. They look like a good couple. So, I actually think it could be Vienna," she explained. "I want it to be Tenley. Tenley and I are really good friends. I will be friends and talk to her forever. I joke if she marries Jake I'll be in their wedding party. We're that close. That would be a little awkward. I'm happy for him whoever he ends up with."
As for rumors that she might be the next "Bachelorette," Ali says she'd love the chance to search for love in a sea of single men.
"That would be so nice," she told Ellen "I would be so flattered."
